Mini books are in!

So I haven't posted for a while... but that is because I've been crazy busy making mini albums for family and haven't been able to post it because family sometimes checks out my blog. I think it is safe to post the album that has already been given. My parents are still on dial up so I am safe there. That is like watching paint dry to check a blog on dial up. LOL! Who is in the mood 4 a lil' burlesque??

So my sister and I spent Saturday making a burlesque card. Found the idea from Katydid Creativity & Paper Adventure (svg file for cricut on her blog) which I thought was super cute! Here is the pic of what I came up with and go figure I totally forgot to take a picture of her card before she left. It was great! If you like this idea and give it a try send me a comment. Card Making Night

So my mom, aunt and sister came for a night of card making. They had never made cards before so I was excited to see what they'd come up with. I helped them with the style of card they wanted to create and then let them go to town. Considering we only started crafting at 9pm once the kids were in bed we didn't stop until 1am. Then we decided we should have a night cap and chat some more. It was 2am by the time we went to bed and the morning came early!!! But it was all worth it. I loved seeing the papers they picked to go together and the fun they had creating these beautiful cards! Can't wait to get together and do it again.
