Pumpkins n' Trees

Here is Bailey's first pumpkin she picked out from the Penner Pumpkin Patch. I will be taking the kids there again this year and can't wait. So fun!

This first page with be a double layout when I'm done. We had a great time at this tree farm. They had horses bringing everyone to the trees on a sleigh. Then sold hot chocolate and cider after. Great set up and I will miss not going there this year now that we are moved.

Cheers everyone and thanks for stoppin by!

Life changes!

Been too long since my last post. We went on holidays for Thanksgiving weekend.... and after several long talks with my husband... I am taking the plunge back into the workforce. Lots of life changes coming... seems kind of overwhelming!!! I have daycare lined up and now I just need to find a job! Any pointers on returning back to work after 4 years is welcome. LOL!  Anyway here are a few layouts I've been working on!

Love love this paper and used embossing powder and stickles to bring it out a little more. Of course, I'm trying to shove as many pictures on my layout as possible. I can't pick!!!

Loving my precocious flowers. First layout using them!!

This has to be my favorite layout of the three! Made all of the embelishments which was a lot of fun!!!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!
Cheers!

You make my heart fly

Here is a sketch from Sketchy Thursday blog.

Here is my take on it! I wanted to try acrylic painting and I think I will be using them more often now. Although... I am a messy painter!

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend. I am pooped... went out with a friend last night and had a few too many to drink. Is it time for bed yet??

World card making day!!

Ok first I need to share a little something about Miss Bai (my 4 year old). She is my talker to say the least! We were driving and she asks out loud... 'Why does the sun keep shining in my eyes?' before my husband or I could answer... she answers her question. 'Because the sun doesn't know any better.  It can't talk.' LMAO! Love it!

I'm not much on cards because I simply don't have the time to dedicate to it. All of my time goes to scrapping layout usually. I saw on Aphra's blog that cricut was having a contest for world card making day. If you would like to enter click HERE!! They are giving away a cuttle bug machine!!

Here is my  quick little card!

Here is a sneak peak of my layout I'm working on. First time using acrylics so hope it turns out! Stay tuned!

Have a great weekend everyone!
Cheers!

Ohh the Wiggles!!

Here is a quick layout I did of Bailey going to her first show... The Wiggles! It was so cute to watch her on that day. Her eyes could NOT get any bigger!

My goal with this layout was to fit as many pictures I could and use a lot of color. I think it's a fun and simple layout!

Have a great day everyone and thank you so much for stopping by!

Lil' acts of Love - Artful Delight Blog Hop

Today I was able to work on the Tic Tac Toe challenge for Artful Delight. I chose to: use light pink, do a layout, and use a border punch.

I finally scapped a picture of Bailey when she had just turned 1 and her friend. We went to Hydro Beach at the end of the summer and I got a lot of great pics of her! This layout I had a hard time with. It seemed to start off easy and then I just found myself staring at the layout trying to figure out what I was going to do next. In the end I figured it out and like the end result!

Hope everyone`s monday was a good one :)

Artful Delight Blog Hop Weekend

So this weekend I was following along with Artful Delight's first blog hop for Leanne's birthday. If you do want to follow along... you have until Sept 30th to submit your challenges!

I hopped along but hadn't been able to do any of the challenges over the weekend until tonight!! I cleaned my BUTT off all day so I could scrap tonight... totally worth it. Love what the sketch turned out to be!

Here is day 1 - sketch layout

Products: American Craft - dear lizzie paper, DCWV cardstock, corrugated cardstock, Heidi snap - oval bling, thickers, misc. ribbon, needles with beads, & tattered angel glimmer mist - tried misting.. didn't show up well on gold so I painted a border around my layout with it!

Thanks for stopping by!

Flower stash!

So I recently purchased some flowers from Tessa who has an blog & etsy shop called Precocious Paper. Gotta say I love love love her flowers! Can't wait to use them!! Anyway when I got them I needed to find somewhere to stash them... I've been keeping this can to do an altered project and now I finally did it. It was fun to do and can see myself making many more altered projects in the future!

The brown flower was my very first glubber flower. Gotta love those!!! The other flower I had made a while ago and never found a home for it. I stuck a prima flower in the middle of it. Paper and ribbon was from My little yellow bicycle.

Song & Dance

So September has been the month of visitors!! Family, family and more family. It was a great time with lots of great laughs and wine! This is why I have been away from my blog... Just before we got company I finished this layout of Bailey on her first day of dance last year. Yes that is right... I am still doing last year! One day, I will be working on current events. LOL! Also I will post a picture of the bomb that has gone off in my scrapbook area.

When my dad as up he made some shelving for me...which I desperately needed and I'm starting to have an actual workable craft area!  Any ideas on crafting storage would be greatly appreciated!! HELP!!!!!!
Funny story... as I am sitting here writing this post I see in the corner of my eye... a silver glittery thing on my boob!! Turns out it's a Thicker letter! HAH!!! Thank god I had a jacket on when I went to pick up my daughter at school.
